People as the starting point

The project starts with human rights and the practical consequences of technology: personal data, work, health, creativity, access to knowledge and automated decisions. It aims to make these questions accessible and open a discussion about the protections we should preserve.

The charter

Ten principles examining autonomy, transparency, responsibility and fairness.

The issues

Understand the effects of AI on people and society.

The book

A reflection available free of charge as PDF and ePub on the dedicated website.

Read, question and contribute

The book extends the discussion to criteria for possible protection of non-human intelligences. The charter remains a civic proposal open to debate. The website brings together the text, the issues and ways to take part.
